Triple Trouble!<\/b><\/p>\n
A long time ago a member kindly sent me part of an article taken from an issue of the \u2018Strand Magazine\u2019 for 1898 on the subject of triplets. Part of the article reads as follows: \u201cOur next instalment of triplets represents the Misses Harriet, Jane and Lizzie, daughters of John and Harriet Parrott, formerly of Kinder Fields Farm, Sutton, near Macclesfield. These young ladies, according to a letter kindly sent to us by Mr. R.E.Hancock, of Didsbury Road, Stockport, were born on 28 November 1883. Their mother died a fortnight after their birth at the early age of 28 and their father died a few years later, leaving in all 6 orphan children. The triplets have been brought up by their grandmother, Mrs Samuel Millward, of Langley, near Macclesfield where the children themselves now reside. They are widely known throughout the district and their grandfather, Mr. Thomas Parrott, was Town Clerk of Macclesfield for fifty years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
