This is one of two families in the Lowndes county. The other one traces back to the Francis group of Parrotts, while the origin of this family are unkown. The earliest known member was Joseph L., b 1873 in Valdosta. The 1900 and 1910 census records list his father as being from North Carolina. One branch has moved to Ft. Lauradale, in Florida. Absent paper records, a Y-DNA test is needed to help place this family branch on the proper family.

  • DNA testing needed for this family. If you are a male from this line, sign up to get tested and thus help uncover its history and origins.
