Despite that this family dates back to the late 1700s, it has remained very small, and primarily in the Baltimore area. This family does not seem to fit any of the listed trees. Its earliest known member, Richard, was born circa 1780 (in Virginia, according to his son Joseph in the Baltimore census). Perhaps Richard may have split off one of the other Virginia families and maybe got ship repair training and moved to Baltimore. A DNA test would be very helpful.

Maury, of the schooner Walcott, who intends to undertake the task of raising her as soon as the necessary help can be obtained.

Miss LuLa I. Parrott, daughter of Mr and Mrs. John C. Parrott was married last night at Martin Luther Evangelical Church to Mr. George Meidling of the Firm of Meidling Bros., ladies' tailors. The church was beautifully decorated with palms and cut flowers, and Rev. David Simon performed the ceremony.
The bridesmaids were Misses Mamie Parrott, Ethel Cranmer, Marie, Lillie and Alma Heise and Irene Yearley. The ushers were Messrs. Walter Ahrens, Frank Reardon, Herman J. Relbetans, Henry Bengert, Emmet F. Wright and John Witsel. After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride's hoome, 2123 East Lombard street.
Late at night Mr. and Mrs. Meidling left for a tour North On their return they will live a 120 North Patuxent street.

15. Robert W. Parrott Sr. (William Joseph4, John Cooper3, William Edward (Capt.)2, Richard1) was born on 17 Sep 1918 in Baltimore, Baltimore Co., Maryland and died on 27 Dec 2009 at age 91.
General Notes: Robert W. "Bob" Parrott, a World War II Navy veteran who later worked as an engineer and estimator, died of cancer Dec. 27 at Gilchrist Hospice Care.
The longtime Ednor Gardens resident was 92.
Mr. Parrott, the son of a structural engineer and a homemaker, was born in Baltimore and raised in Hamilton.
He was a 1936 graduate of Polytechnic Institute and studied engineering and aircraft design at Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland, College Park.
During the late 1930s and early '40s, he worked with his father at Dietrich Brothers, a steel fabricator, adn then joined old Glenn L. Martin Co. plant in Middle River.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1944, and after training, was sent to the Philippine Islands, where he worked in aircraft maintenance.
After the war, Mr. Parrott worked in the Baltimore construction industry as an engineer and estimator.
He retired in 1986 from Ultra Construction Co. where he had been responsible for preparing general contract bids on commercial and renovation projects, negotiating sub-contracts, and purchasing construction materials.
He enjoyed big band music, duckpin bowling and wood carving.
His wife of 32 years, the former Shirley Jewell Hawkins, died in 1975.
Mr. Parrott was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hamilton, where services were held Monday.
Surviving are three sons, Robert W. Parrott II of Abingdon, John D. Parrott of Sykesville, and Steven J. Parrott of Annapolis; three daughters, Patricia I. Pahr of Towson, Susan I. Concannon of Ellicott City and Barbara Lynn Jones of Erial, N.J.; a sister, Jean Cooper of Tucson, Ariz,; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchilren.
