This is the third known branch. It traces back to a Robert who was in Gloucester county, Virginia. His descendants have spread out from there, with a large cluster located in Arkansas and another in Oklahoma. A little additional information is available for Robert. This Robert, who was b ca 1769 in Gloucester county, and married Sally, perhaps as his second wife, is frequently confused with the Captain Robert Parrott, also from Gloucester county, who was born ca 1772, married Sarah Read in 1799, and moved to Fredericksburg in Spotsylvania county, Virginia. Captain Parrott died in 1833, while Robert died sometime after 1850. |
