2nd Lt. John H. Parrott as a student pilot (left) and (below) with the crew of Boeing B17 ‘Thumper Again’ photographed on 16 January 1944. He was assigned to the 360 Bomber Squadron, US Army Air Corps on 5 Sep 1943 as co-pilot to C.C.Brinkley and was upgraded to pilot on 27 Dec 1943. It is believed that he survived the war but beyond that we know nothing about him. Where did he come from? Who were his parents? Can you tell us?
